That was fun while it lasted :-)

Just finished & submitted my T175 ECA. It was quite amazing, looking back through the course, to see how much we covered. Pity it didn't generate the same kind of community as T171, but in terms of content I have no complaints! Highly recommended if you want to bring yourself up to speed on new developments in ICT :-)

Maybe I will. But I promised myself no more techie but ICT isn't really about computers is it?

    Congratulations for sending that ECA.

Was there any particular reason why it didn't generate the same kind of community?

Haze - I thought it was time for an update :-)

Morning - it's so much more than computers (in the sense of desktop boxes)! Everything from telemedicine to 'smart homes' via road charging & film animation :-)

Kat - I'm really not sure why the spark wasn't there. The last few presentations of T171 were already different; perhaps the excitment of pioneering had gone?

Sounds fun and I could be tempted. I enjoy learning by doing and using my PC.

T171 did have that pioneering buzz about it. Many students like me could barely turn the computer on without needing to phone a helpline.

My heart was on hold this year sending my first eTMA, rather than using the post, for six years. This was because of the memory trip of sending TMAs using the e-system for T171. Mine never arrived intact, with bits missing and one I sent had every single word underlined yet my script wasn't underlined on my processor- awful!

I had so much help from those that knew what they were doing. I suppose now people are more skilled using their PCs?

Nah, I had a guy tutor, forget his name. Would be cool tho. Small worldiness. When Ginger is next in Notts or Leics we will have to grab a pre show pint. :)
