I've been spending lots of time on Facebook. There's a whole Facebook culture that I really hesitate to address at 5am, but what I particularly enjoy about it, beyond the basics of making new connections with people you already know, is the richness & flexibility... so many levels on which you can interact!

I agree that Facebook is a great way to communicate with others, but there's always going to be problems too. I've experienced when people from Egypt add me, just to post rude things on my wall, and I have no idea who they are. And there's always the problem with photos. Even thought I didn't want any photos of me on Facebook for security reasons, my friends put up pictures of me without even asking, so now I've lost track of how many pictures there is. Other than that, I think Facebook is great. I've reconnected with lots of my old friends from when I was a kid :)
